We are delighted to introduce our NGO, the National Federation of Visual Impaired Persons, located in Vangani, Thane District, Maharashtra. Established in 2010, our mission is to support visually impaired families in meeting their daily needs and achieving sustainable development.
We kindly request your support and sponsorship for our upliftment project aimed at assisting visually impaired and disabled families in our rural village of Vangani. With a population of approximately 25 thousand, Vangani is home to over 200 visually impaired families. Many of these families face significant challenges, lacking sources of income or opportunities for self-reliant employment. As a result, they are often compelled to resort to begging on railway platforms or selling cutlery products, endangering their lives and sometimes needing to bring their young children along.
